The light carving axe is forged from high carbon spring steel. The cutting edge is 4inches long and the head weight is right at 1lb. The thin bit allowes the 32° grind to cut really deep and be an excellent carver without needing to be heavy and cause excess fatigue.
Sold as head only so you can customize your own handle to suit you best.
As these are a hand forged product, each head is unique.
