Made from 4150 carbon steel and heat treated to 58HRC, the head weighs 1.2 lbs with a 5-inch cutting edge that is razor sharp. The bevel is a slight hollow grind finished on a 14" diameter grinding wheel, giving you a keen edge that is easy to control.
With or without a handle the axe comes with a handmade leather sheath to protect both the blade and your bench.
The handled version is a 12-inch ash handle.
