Mission Statement
Traditional tools. Modern methods. Craftsmanship made accessible.
My mission is to make exceptional traditional tools more accessible by combining time-honored craftsmanship with modern manufacturing.
I believe the value of a traditional tool lies in how well it works, how it feels in the hand, and the experience it creates—not simply in how difficult or expensive it was to make. By thoughtfully combining traditional techniques with CNC machining, digital fabrication, 3D printing, and other modern processes, I can put more of my effort into the details that truly matter while making high-quality tools attainable for more people.
I don't see technology and tradition as opposites. I see modern manufacturing as another set of tools available to the craftsman.
The goal is not to imitate tradition or automate craftsmanship out of the process. It is to preserve what makes traditional tools exceptional while finding smarter, more efficient ways to produce them.
Ultimately, I want the tools I make to be a gateway into traditional woodworking rather than a gatekeeping barrier to it—giving more people the opportunity to discover the satisfaction, skill, and joy of working with their hands.
